Like the Bastinelli Dragotac knife, you get a full length cutting edge (no cutting area used by a finger choil) to maximize the amount of usable blade you get with this knife. Measuring in at a perfect EDC blade length of 3.125" the stonewash finished D2 tool steel blade is positioned in the perfectly (relative to the handle) for highly effective slicing cuts. The blade shape is a modified drop point with a thick needle sharp spear point tip for strength and increased stabbing capabilities. The ergonomic handle has rounded edges to minimize hot spots when performing repetitive cutting tasks--needless to say it is very comfortable. Using the dual ambidextrous thumb studs, the opening and closing action is silky smooth thanks to the superb IKBS ball bearing system. The ergonomic handle design enables multiple grip options... if you need to choke up close to the blade for precise work - you can... if you need to move back on the blade for added reach - you can... it's even got spine jimping on two sections of the blade spine so you can do this. Confidence inspiring solid lockup is accomplished via a titanium framelock. The handle has a textured G10 scale on the frontside and a solid titanium framelock on the backside. The handle is an open-build design with a breaker tip and a non-reversible pocket clip for tip-up carry.
