Since it is going in my Victorinox Knife, I went with the "Victorinox" straight pin. Is there a difference in straight pins? I think so. I've used straight pins in the past that bent very easily. These are sturdier. I don't know if it due to hardening or a different alloy of steel. But there is a difference.
