Its long, broad blade and short handle were ideal for thrusting and revolutionized tribal warfare in Southern Africa. The Cold Steel Assegai has all the features that made the original so deadly. The blade is 13-1/2" long and 2-1/2" wide and extremely sharp. The short two foot long premium American Ash shaft is ideal for thrusting.
