We rounded the tip of our #70XT blade to make it more difficult to puncture through skin while your working. The #70XT is also our thickest blade, and this makes it our longest-lasting edge. The extra thickness also gives the #70XT outstanding resistance to breakage.
The 70XT fits the #8 handle and the #74 handle only. The 70XT DOES NOT fit the Piranta; it is too thick for the Piranta fitment grooves.
Your order includes one box of 100 foil wrapped blades. A box of one dozen is not available in this blade.
These blades for taxidermy, skinning, gutting, surgery, crafts, etc... work great!
I have to say that despite trepidations of ordering online, my transaction with Oso Grande was absolutely flawless.
