Havalon Havel's 70XT Rounded Tip Carbon Steel Surgical Blade, Box of 100. We rounded the tip of our #70XT blade to make it more difficult to puncture through skin while your working. The #70XT is also our thickest blade, and this makes it our longest-lasting edge. The extra thickness also gives the #70XT outstanding resistance to breakage.

The 70XT fits the #8 handle and the #74 handle only. The 70XT DOES NOT fit the Piranta; it is too thick for the Piranta fitment grooves.

Your order includes one box of 100 foil wrapped blades. A box of one dozen is not available in this blade.

These blades for taxidermy, skinning, gutting, surgery, crafts, etc... work great!

I order 70xt blades from you all twice a month thanks for being awesome.

Used 70A blades this year to field dress/skin 4 antelope. 1 blade per animal and still sharp on completion of task. Blunt point is great for not piercing thin hide when skinning while still Havalon sharp. These thicker blades mean they dont break nearly as easily as the original 60XT blades do/did.
