A close, clean shave. Blade stays sharp after multiple uses.

I've been using these blades for several years in a Parker "butterfly" safety razor that replaced my Mach 3 razor that I had used previously. This gives an equally, if not closer shave, at a fraction of the cost. I have a relatively thick beard and change the blade about once every 5-7 days. Do yourself a favor and start using them, you too will be a convert.

My husband has been using this one Derby Extra blade for 3 months now. Usually he needs to change it more often. He says it "shaves smooth". The other day he wasn't paying attention and cut himself and said it didn't hurt because it was still so sharp. He has tried many other brands and Derby Extra and Feather are his favorites. A lot cheaper than Feather also. I like to use them on my legs as well. Very Smooth.
