If you get the spray, it will just blow into you and your dogs. Then you are left standing there with your eyes sealed shut. Get gel and your chances of hitting your target go way up while minimizing any getting on you or your dogs. My latest incident was with another loose pit bull. This dog was on a mission and it was not to say hi. Grabbed the gel off my belt, aimed, and a stream (not spray) of this goo spattered its face. Sorry dog, but if it is between my dogs and I vs you, you are gonna lose. It ran off into some bushes and started rolling around while we got outta there. Great stuff!

This is a medium sized unit. Plus it's a gel. So if I need it. I will have spot-on accuracy, and a multi shot supply. I seriously doubt anyone could continue, after being hit with this. They will be screaming to call 911. It would certainly be better than hitting them with multiple shots of my home Tactical Shotgun.
I bought a few, one for my wife, one for myself and a spare. I've carried OC for years but , thankfully, never had to use it.until the other evening. My wife and I were walking our two dogs when we came around a corner and two pit bulls were off leash, we turned and went back the way we came. We got about 100 yards and I thought we were clear only to see the dogs round the corner running, as the lead one closed to 20' I sprayed in front of it hoping it would stop but it kept coming, a second 'warning' had no effect. It was close now so I sprayed the face and it instantly veered off, pawing at it's face and rubbing on the ground, the second dog went to check the first and we kept moving and made for safety. I hated to spray the dog but I was happy my wife and dogs escaped without injury. I highly recommend Sabre, I replaced the used one with the Sabre Red Crossfires.
Never thought I had to actually use this until I had to. Stopped my attacker and kept him on the floor screaming in pain. It definitely got him away from me. I called police immediately after. If you think this won't work, think again. Definitely buying more!
Great product. I've carried this pepper gel for years and never thought I'd have to use it. Last weekend, it saved my dog and I from being attacked by a large, aggressive offleash dog with no owner in sight. After it attacked one of my friends, it approached me. I was able to spray the dog from a distance of about 5 ft (maybe I could have done it from further away, but I wanted to make sure I wouldn't miss). It was easy to aim and the red colored gel let me know I got the dog in the face. The dog stopped in its tracks and there was no blow back. I don't leave the house without this pepper gel.
SABRES Pepper Spray exceeded my expectations. I was able to defend myself during an attempted mugging by two thugs in the middle of the night. Two thugs arrived from my back, stopped me and made a demand. Although I was nervous I put my hand in my pocket and the SABRE, readied and withdrew it of my pocket and aimed at the thug infront and sprayed generously. While he was in shock at what had hit him while itching and covering his eyes and nose, I aimed at the second and applied same amount. Both had their hands on their faces while running away like scared chicken. That night I felt confident in the middle of danger first in my life. SABRE was my friend and bodyguard that night. Excellent, great protection. I have certified, and know this product. It is top of the line. I recommend it to anyone I know. If you're going to carry a concealed Pepper, carry this one. BTW it has a button safety feature to prevent accidental discharge.
Havent used it yet, i like the safety cap, and the holster is sturdy, i bought this product because it has a good reputation.
Never thought I would ever have to use it, but a dog attack while biking had me pull it for usespray stuck like glue and instantly disabled the attacker.
