I had my wife spray me with this today from a distance of 4 ft, in order to determine the efficacy. I was on the deck heaving with a hose to my face for 2 hours. The cone comes out very very heavily at that distance. My entire face was caked in orange, as well as my neck, shoulders, and parts of my chest. The burning lasted for 4 hours, but was tolerable for the last 2. Hours 3 involved multiple scrub downs with Dawn dish soap from top to bottom, and some additional rinsing. The power of this spray cannot be overstated unless you are someone who has been sprayed before. Heavy doses of this spray eject from nose very well. Granted we did use a larger can than the one shown here, which propelled more material faster. Regardless I can imagine what it would be like to be blasted by this directly in an open eye. It was truly excruciating. Respect this tool well, it is not something to take lightly.
