I love this machete! I have a cold steel bolo machete and an Ontario 18" machete. In comparison this machete is the best! It is a little heavier than my Ontario but the handle is better when it comes to swinging it for long periods. It came razor sharp out of the box. I tested it out on our overgrown dual sport motorcycle trail. it cut saplings, vines, bushes, branches and briers with ease. It almost felt like I could finish clearing the whole trail without help of an axe or chainsaw with this machete. As a multipurpose camping tool it is second to none. A nod to Oso Grande for super fast shipping of my order.
