I had one of the actual Camillus knives of this design, and I really liked it. I ordered 2 of these very economically priced knockoff version of the knife, and I am equally happy with them. They arrived fairly sharp (sharp enough to barely shave hair off my arm), and after a few seconds on my upright belt sander, with a fine grit and a leather belt, this knife was *extremely* sharp (easily shaving hair off my arm, with almost no effort/pressure on the knife). If I was lost in the woods, or in any emergency situation, I would want to have this knife with me.
I just really cant find anything bad to say about this knife.

I purchased this knife to replace my old Camillus military issue knife that I lost some time ago. This knife is made in China, but don't let that put you off. Mine is just as good, if not better than the original US made version. Mine came full of grit, but it was easy to clean out with a Q-Tip. Once I oiled it, it smoothed out nicely. The blade came shaving sharp. All of the blades are polished nicely and there are no rough edges anywhere on this knife. There are no gaps between the springs and everything is tight and well put together. I've seen some of the originals selling for $50 on a popular auction site, but they just aren't worth that much money to me. This is a great value and I recommend it. The funny part is that the handle is marked US, but the cutting blade is marked China.
Outstanding copy of the original GI knife I carried in my USA days. And the can opener really works, unlike so many multitools today. A good rugged knife for EDC. For this price I will order a couple more, to keep in each vehicle.
These are pretty close to the original GI knife. I purchased two of these to go with my original. Can honestly say they are pretty close to the original issue GI knife.
If you only have one knife, make it this one. Super strong and sharp, just like the old G.I. knife, but without that thumb tab that used to poke you in the leg. Best knife for the money anywhere!
