The production Tempest is manufactured by Reate in China and meets all the rigorous quality specifications Liong sets for all of his knives. The Tempest features a 3.75 inch CPM-S35VN stainless steel blade with beautiful grind lines. The blade has a stonewash finish with polished flats that really stand out on the knife. The big belly on the blade makes it great for slicing and the tip is ground for devastating penetration. The titanium handle is comfortable regardless of what size hands you have. The slight curve of the handle fills your hand perfectly locking it into place. The milled titanium pocket clip is mounted for right-hand, tip-up carry. The sturdy frame lock engages smoothly, and has a replaceable steel lockbar insert. Each knife comes with a Liong Mah Designs zipper pouch and blue anodized hardware for accent.
