Cold Steel's Ti-Lite folding knives evoke the sleek speed and rebellious lines of the classic 1950's switchblade. They feature sharp and strong CPM-S35VN stainless steel blades and CNC milled 7075 Aluminum handles which are finished with a protective EDP (Electric Discharge Plating) coating. The Ti-Lites are equipped with Cold Steel's patent pending, stainless steel leaf spring locks (proven, in their tests, to hold upwards of 145 lbs). For ease of carry, the Ti-Lites come equipped with a small, but unobtrusive steel pocket clip, and can be opened rapidly by using the thumb studs or by snagging a quillon on the edge of your pocket as you draw your knife out. Cold Steel is grateful to custom knife maker, Phil Boguszewski, for his design influence and help in the creation of the Ti-Lites.

The Ti-Lite knife is one of my favorite EDC knives. It comes sharp and is easy to sharpen, is tough and capable of any task. It is easy to open and close with one hand with an excellent blade locking system. And has an aggressive look and feel.

This aluminum handled TI-LITE does not disappoint and it is an upgrade to my previous blade that I had for nearly ten years. Light and a quick draw, it cuts through anything I've needed it for and has proven to be durable over long periods.

I bought the Zytel model and took it back the next day. Whenever I put it in my pocket, the blade would deploy and and when I finally sat down with it in my pocket, I ended up with nearly an inch of blade stuck in my leg. I may try again with the aluminum handled one later, but I'm not going to until I actually get to try one out first.

I bought 2 of this model, one for myself and one for a relative, I also got 1 of the 4 inch models. Tested them out on a 15 lb. piece of beef, both blades went through it like butter, stabbing into meat no effort little pressure needed, letting gravity take effect i dropped them from about 1.5 feet and each penetrated half way into the meat. Using the 4 inch I did a reverse grip slash and the depth of the slice is something id expect from a much bigger knife. My relative tested the point by doing 4 med power stabs into a metal plate and dozens of throws into hard wood, the point still looks as it did coming out of the box. Super fast opening whichever method is used, very fine blade, the 4 inch is my edc now. Highly recommend this line of knives.

I was looking for a sharp knife that stayed sharp. I know little about types of metal and all the lingo that the hardcore knife collectors have but I do know that this knife has cut when it was needed and it is just as sharp now as when I bought it would buy it again and would recommend it to others.

This is one of the best personal defense knifes I have ever owned. You can puncture the heart or aortic valve easier than any other edged weapon I have ever used. If you need to make an edged kill trust me this is the blade for you.
Thanks to Cold Steel for their product, it truly is a professionals choice.
