A good Kukri, with its broad heavy duty blade, is a true power - able to cut, chop, slice and shear through even the toughest targets. A Kukri blade is an outstanding multi-purpose tool that can put in exceptional work, as well as serve as a truly devastating weapon during wartime or in a last ditch self-defense situation.

Inspired by this legacy of excellence, custom knife maker Andrew Demko developed the Rajah - a series of true folding Kukris that have proven to be instant classics!

Available in two sizes, and exhibiting many of the best Kukri-like characteristics, their unique blade shape presents their thin, flat ground edges at just the right angle so they naturally bite deep, making cuts that way exceed other knives of the same size and weight.

The Rajah handle also shares similar lines with traditional Kukris, with the addition of strategically placed curves and finger grooves for optimum grip and control.

To counter the incredible impact forces generated by chopping strokes, Cold Steel has equipped the Rajah series of folders with the world renowned Tri-Ad locking mechanism, which has proven itself again and again to be virtually impervious to shock.

Carry the Rajah series as you would any folder, using the clip to attach it to any reasonably sized pocket or clip it in your waistband. In an emergency all you have to do is grab it and open it in the conventional manner or snag its unique patented thumb plate on the edge of a pocket and snap it open with lightning speed.

So try the Rajah folding kukri series today and experience for yourself the power of a Kukri that can fit in your pocket!

I wore this beast daily for three years in the tropics. It did daily chopping and cutting task easily and was always ready to open a coconut for drinking or cutting some fruit from the tree. Mild brush clearing was easy due to the extended handle length which extends reach without adding unneeded blade length. The blade steel holds a great edge and once you get the idea how to sharpen it it%u2019s not overly complicated. It carried in my work pants easily and never felt too big. It conceals very well and always got a reaction when I pulled it out and the blade popped open. Never ceases to amaze folks when you pull a 16%u201D knife out of your pocket.

This a a large, heavy folder. Slightly too long and heavy for every day carry in a pocket, but a great option for a bush knife on my pack. Large curved blade handles medium impact chopping and slashing brush, and holds edge for controlled cutting and carving chores. Can be deployed one handed, and locking mechanism is solid. Arrived very sharp and ready for use.

I bought my first Rajah 2 almost seven years ago. Decided to get a new one and pass down my older Rajah. The textured grip and harder steel of this one is much appreciated. The first one I had was smooth grips and had some issues when I was sweating. The aggressive grips are much appreciated.

I recently purchased the rajah II and after purchasing a lot of knives over the years i have to say that this is one of the most bad-ass knives i've ever found. The rajah II is an awesome combination of a survival knife and a serious defensive weapon that belongs in every bug-out bag. If i ever had to walk through or spend time in a sketchy area where i was concerned for my own safety, this blade would offer a lot of comfort, almost as much as a handgun would. Once you hold it in your hand and open it up you realize you could chop your way through just about any threat. It seems a little heavy at first but i've been carrying it clipped onto the waistband of my shorts when i go out to walk or jog and the weight is hardly noticeable, it gives a nice secure feeling knowing its there. Thank you Oso Grande Knives for making such a great deal available and fast service.
