A very good idea, now further evolved.

Buck Knives brought a breakthrough to market in 1964 with the 110 Folding Hunter: The first folder that locked open, but could be carried safely and compactly. Now we've updated that classic configuration to the intriguing The 55... an heirloom-sized version of the 110 that could easily become known as My first Buck knife. It still has a hunting pedigree, but it's an outstanding everyday carry knife. These have brass bolsters and liners, positive lock-open system and handsome Ebony hardwood handles.

I always carry a pocket knife and Buck Knives has been my goto knife. They keep an edge very well and there is a lifetime warranty. I bought the 55 model and it fits perfectly in my watch pocket. The lock blade is east to open and close and the handle is really nice. The knife arrives with a near surgical sharpness so be careful.

Its a perfect pocket knife very light. Perfect size razor sharp blade. Made in USA. Will last forever. Just perfect like all Buck knives. I got my first buck knife in 1982. Buck 110. still have it. still carry it. The 110 is perfect too. Dont waist your money on anything else! Buy a buck!
