Fantastic little knife! I had one of these little knives for about 40 years, give or take. Works great with my little hands, especially in tight places such as coring an apple or getting the stem only and the pith off a green pepper. It also keeps its sharpness well. Then I go and loose it!!!! I could not find these in a store. Younger folks haven't even heard of Chicago Cutlery. Folks my age thought they went out of business. I tried others. No No. I had not been able to find a blade that short and that thin. Next came an oh wow moment, why not try the internet! Wha-la! I am one happy little girl again!

I bought another for a second home that we also rent, to keep in my locked closet so I always have a good knife. This size is great if you only want to have one knife though I also own several other sizes from paring knife to bread knife. I have used Chicago Walnut for years. They are comfortable in the hands, and sharpen easily. DO NOT EVER put in the dishwasher, and try to avoid soaking - instead clean up promptly. If you do see the handle is a bit dry, rub it with oil (I just use vegetable oil). Use your honing tool to keep the edge, and occasionally you will actually need to sharpen.

This is a great little knife. Only issue is the handle was not as smooth as my original, 43 year old one. My husband had to sand the edges down. The knives are good quality and get an enormous amount of use at my house.

A handy addition to my cutlery collection. Works great!

This is the best paring knife ever! I don't know why other paring knives don't have the narrow blade like this one, which makes it perfect for the finest paring jobs, including hulling strawberries. I have two already, one of which is used for everyday tough tasks, and the other is used for actual paring. The steel used in the blade is excellent--it can withstand all kinds of abuse and yet is easily sharpened. Great price here, which is why I bought two more!

Thanks for such great service before AND during the sale. Y'all had a great attitude when I was asking a dozen questions and although I know and respect that your time is money I never felt hurried. It was like I was your only customer. You have won me as a life long customer even if you're in CA ;) I've got to get going but I wanted to let you know that the folks I worked with were all great and a definite asset to the company. Treat them right, retain them, and the rest will just fall in place.
