For anyone who thinks these knives are not worth it because they dont come all razor sharp: Flash - these are milspec knives. They are made to govt specs and they dont finish them for that price. I have had one for two years now and could not be happier. After 30 miniutes at the bench, it is shaver sharp, and modified the way I want it. I ground the clip curve flat because it strengthens the tip, and laid back the primary grind to about 30degrees. The first thing to do is to grind/file a choil at the end of the grind where the edge meets the ricasso. It is the key to getting a nice continuous edge with no washout. All my knife requires is a strop now and then. The beauty is that I do not have to risk my expensive knives in camp or in a vehicle. The SP-2 batons well and does all the chores I need it to do. And, it is indestructible - unless I deliberately want to wreck it. Last time I checked, I had no need to pound it into a tree as a step up, nor do I expect to have to use it as a stake to pull out a stuck Jeep.

The price point for this knife is just right to use as a beater knife. If you break/loose it, you wont feel too bad. Mine wasnt super sharp out of the box, but a few minutes with a ceramic sharpener and it was good to go. My one gripe about this knife is the sheath. To me, the white stitching just takes away from it. Small gripe I know, but it's my gripe and I didnt take starts away from it for that since it doesnt hinder the knife quality/function.

It has become rare that I become so impressed and I would give it more stars if I could. I havent got a chance to test it yet but I am very impressed by the way it feels in my hand. Fantastic MOLLE sheath that comes with extra holes and shoestring for fastening on to the leg. This is by far the best knife Ive been able to get for a price as low as this.

Exactly what I wanted a strong and durable field knife for hiking. Shipped quickly. Exactly as expected. Very sharp!

This is a great knife. it's perfect. The steel is good. The size and razor sharp clip point blade make it suitable for throwing. The length of the blade is enough to slice just about anything (and it comes sharp enough for that purpose). You can hone and sharpen it further to a scary sharp edge, but that is unneeded. The grip is fantastic, and the sheath is solid.

Do yourself a favor and get one. It is a lethal knife, be careful!

Great survival knife that's cheap and made in the USA! Mine came razor sharp, was easy to resharpen after heavy use (knife is made from 1095 steel), batons wood easily, built tough, carves wood for bushcrafting tasks easily (very nimble carver for its size), and feels comfortable in the hand. You just can't find a USA made fixed blade built like this one for the price!

Thanks for such great service before AND during the sale. Y'all had a great attitude when I was asking a dozen questions and although I know and respect that your time is money I never felt hurried. It was like I was your only customer. You have won me as a life long customer even if you're in CA ;) I've got to get going but I wanted to let you know that the folks I worked with were all great and a definite asset to the company. Treat them right, retain them, and the rest will just fall in place.
