Cold Steel's new Double Agent® neck knives possess a significant set of advantages worth noting. Designed by Zach Whitson, with either a Karambit or Clip Point blade style, they're thin, flat, and super light (a little over 3 ounces including sheath). This makes them easy to conceal and very comfortable to wear. Their most audacious and notable feature, however, is their double ring handle design. Slip an index finger through the front ring nearest the blade and your pinky finger through the rear ring and close your fist to obtain a forward grip and vice versa for a reverse grip.
It doesn't matter how hard you cut, chop, hack, hammer or thrust with the Double Agent®. Its twin rings will always prevent your hand from sliding forward on the razor sharp edge and will likewise resist the effects of centrifugal force or the efforts of an adversary to wrest the Double Agent® from your grasp.
The Cold Steel Double Agent I Karambit Knife, designed by Jack Whitson, features a 3" hawkbill blade of AUS8A stainless steel, 2.3mm thick. The handle, 4.875" long, has Grivory scales over the stainless steel frame, a forward finger hole, a butt end finger ring, friction grooves on the blade spine and a lanyard hole. A Secure-Ex neck sheath with lashing holes and bead chain is included. Overall length: 7.875". Weight: 2.5 ounces.

I wear an urban pal, the double agent hawk bill is way too big to wear as a necklace. That's on my belt blade down and forward for a belly ripper draw.

I love Cold Steel and I love karambits. However I am still working on a comfortable grip with the two finger holes. Also, the sheath points the curved tip to the rear when it should point forward. I am looking at ways to McGuyver the belt attachment but haven't come up with a solution yet. It's still a solid knife and nicely finished. But it does require a steep learning curve to be effective.

If you are searching for a good fixed blade karambit this is one of the best. For the price I think this is the best Karambit there is.

Great for self defense. Beautiful craftsmanship. Razor sharp.

A version of the karambit style knife; but with two finger holes and a serious serrated blade. My hands are very large and the size was a bit small. But the design and serious defense power of this design is easy to see and not something for show. I like the tiger claw because the comfortable grip and larger finger hole. But this is serrated. I always will choose the serrated version of any knife because of the obvious enhancement. But I know many people who prefer the straight edge to sharpen easily and not have to distort the edges with hard use.

Great Knife. It was actually bigger then I expected. But it was still small enough for me to be able to conceal it.

I've had my double agent 1 for about three months now and I love it. It is a great knife and it fits in hand nicely and came with a razor sharp blade and holds a good edge. The only negative is that the reverse grip is a little uncomfortable for my pinky finger but it does not effect the knife's combat abilities. It is lightweight and easy to carry and I recommend it to anyone looking for a good self-defense knife.

Strong blade with an excellent grip that fits my hand. The push button sheath works good.

This blade is just plain awesome! It is lightweight and very sharp. The holes in the handle ensure that you will never drop your knife unless you intend to. I live in a seedy part of town an I use it as a self-defense tool and it is very fast into action and easy to hide.
