Most of our customers who are trying out a safety razor for the first time choose to purchase a razor blade sampler as well. This is an economical way to figure out which blade brand is best suited to your skin type, style of shaving and razor type, before making a purchase of a large quantity of blades of a single brand.
About Parker... Manufactured in India since 1973, Parker razors are known for their ornate handles and fine craftsmanship. Highly rated world wide by wet shaving enthusiasts, Parker offers fine badger shaving brushes, razors and accessories with quality to match more expensive brands at a fraction of the cost.
My only complaint is that the handle tends to become loosen during shaving and I have to tighten it. If I make sure it's fully tight before starting my shave it usually stays tight throughout. This seems to be a common problem with butterfly opening razors and one that you can get around by tightening first.
Do the math.... this razor will cost pennies on the dollar to use vs the major brand razors. My calculations figure this will cost around $15-20 a year to use and will pay for itself in no time. I highly recommend this razor to anyone.
I received the Spyderco Bob Lum knife and just wanted you to know how pleased I am with your service. Just what I wanted and at a great price. Thank you very much!
