Having never sharpened a serrated knife before, I wasn't sure what to expect. I tried this sharpener the day I received it on a 10 inch serrated bread knife. It was fast and easy to use. The results were surprisingly good. Anyone who understands knife sharpening understands the significance of a burr. My bread knife developed a proper burr after 3 or 4 strokes into each serration. I tested the knife on a baguette and it cut very nicely without any tearing at all. I'm impressed and pleased with the purchase.
