Custom quality folding knives, especially those manufactured with Titanium handles and Titanium leaf spring locks are undeniably strong, lightweight, and beautiful to look at, but they're also quite expensive.
We know that many of our customers love the look of our Ti-Lites® but find the prices a little steep. So we have created some very affordable alternatives. The Zy-Ex Ti-Lite® with a 4 inch blade mimics the look of its more expensive counterparts almost exactly, and our model that features a six inch blade is a completely unique Ti-Lite,® virtually in a class by itself.
Instead of 7075 Aluminum, we used 43% glass filled Zy-Ex for the handles and high quality stainless steel for the leaf spring lock and liners. The results are extraordinarily lightweight knives that are remarkably strong, sharp and good looking, at a price almost everyone can afford.
The Cold Steel Zytel Ti-Lite XL Knife designed in collaboration with custom knifemaker Phil Boguszewski, has a 6" stiletto style blade made of AUS8A stainless steel, 4mm thick. The blade has a thumb stud for one hand opening, and dual blade extensions. The top blade extension serves as an index finger trigger opening option, and the two extensions form an integral guard when the blade is locked open. The drilled Zytel handle, 7" closed, has a stainless steel leaf spring lock. A removable stainless steel pocket clip is mounted at the butt end.

This is a Big knife! It is large and very well built. I am really impressed by the blade lockup as it is solid and secure and I dont have to worry about it folding up on me when in use.

Undoubtedly, the blade itself and its materials are impeccable. However I noticed that, when wet, it also gets slippery
Its sharp as hell, which is exactly what I wanted, but really, in some instances I'm afraid to lose my fingers because it has no guard
Is anyone else having that issue?

This is a very large well built knife with a needle sharp blade. I am very impressed with the Triad Lock. no worries about it folding up and cutting my fingers off when I use it. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a serious blade for defensive purposes.

Handles like an italian stiletto on steroids. Really fast opening and extremely sharp out of the box. Rock solid blade lockup. It is a very big knife with an equally big attitude. Quality construction that will last a long time.

One sick blade. Definitely a piercing blade. Was impressed with how the Tri-Ad lock works. Only complaint is pocket clip seems a tad short.

Excellent knife but bigger even than you think it is. Even with the extra large size it still fits comfortably in the front pocket of all my jeans and shorts. I also clip it to the elastic waistband on my joggers. If size matters to you. this is the knife for you.

Fantastic knife! Came razor sharp out the box. Deploys fast and smooth which was pleasantly surprising for such a long blade. Nice loud click clack when deployed. Very intimidating. Not a camping knife unless you need it to take something or someone down. Super sturdy build. Pocket carry is good. Nice short secure clip. Not too heavy. This is the ultimate urban EDC.

Excellent craftmanship! Bought as a 'mere' replacement for the Smith & Wesson CK114L (no longer made). This knife is by far better, in every way! Shaving sharp, right out of the box. Materials are superior, from the steel blade to the handles; lock/release is tight, no 'slop' in it or the blade. Overall, a great knife! It IS huge, but fits well in either jeans or dress pants pocket with minimal profile. Intimidation factor when opened is off the charts - it scared ME just laying on the table! So impressed, I came back & ordered the 4" as an EDC. Very happy & impressed with the knife. The '2 to 5 day shipping' only took *9 days*, so don't pay more for less.

Another outstanding knife from Cold Steel. This amazing well balanced knife is paper shaving sharp. But very big. I was looking for the biggest knife I could carry in my pocket. If you are looking for an EDC knife you may want the 4 inch model.

I bought 2 of this model, one for myself and one for a relative, I also got 1 of the 4" models. Tested them out on a 15 lb. piece of beef, both blades went through it like butter, stabbing into meat no effort little pressure needed, letting gravity take effect i dropped them from about 1.5' and each penetrated half way into the meat. Using the 4" I did a reverse grip slash and the depth of the slice is something id expect from a much bigger knife. My relative tested the point by doing 4 med power stabs into a metal plate and dozens of throws into hard wood, the point still looks as it did coming out of the box. Super fast opening whichever method is used, very fine blade, the 4" is my edc now. Highly recommend this line of knives.%uFEFF
