The Lamoureux and Sons Shefferville Hunting knife is handcrafted by craftsmen in Quebec, Canada. This superb fixed blade hunting knife's construction is comprised of over than 60 different steps and numerous quality controls. The Shefferville knife is a great choice for skinning and processing big game.

The hollow ground drop point blade is made from S30V stainless steel alloy which is one of the best performing blade steels in terms of cutting performance and edge retention. The bolsters are crafted from Type 416 stainless steel alloy which is used both for its rigidity and resistance to corrosion. The ergonomic handles are sculpted from beautiful Cocobolo wood which is one of the hardest woods and because of it's high oil content it is very stable and virtually impossible to rot. The unique shape of the handle has been studied and developed to provide a comfortable and safe grip while in use. The handles are permanently secured to the blade with decorative mosaic pins. This beautiful hunting knife is protected by a hand stiched full-grain open top leather sheath which is hand crafted at the Lamoureux headquarters.

The most abundant type of vegetation over there is caribou lichen which feeds the gigantic population of almost one million heads.
